The Royal Victorian Greenhouse is one of the premier greenhouses in the “Helios” line of greenhouses from Janssens of Belgium. This company has been making high-end glass greenhouses for over 70 years.
This is a classic-looking English greenhouse with the best insulation and features of modern technology, Thick frame profiles combined with rubber seals and a high-quality structural design will give you peace of mind in any weather condition.
GLASS: Traditional horticultural glass (3 to 4 mm thick) is most often used in greenhouses because it is cheaper than safety glass. However, it is less strong and when it breaks it shatters into sharp pieces. Safety glass is five to seven times stronger than horticultural glass and should it break in an extreme case, it will fall apart into small harmless pieces. All our conservatories are equipped with 4mm safety glass as standard.
POLYCARBONATE: If you want to completely prevent glass breakage and also want to pay attention to insulation, you can also opt for plastic windows. These consist of clear double sheets of polycarbonate. They insulate 40% better than single glass, which means less temperature fluctuations occur in the conservatory. An additional advantage of plastic is that the sun's rays are effectively filtered.

I’ve connected this greenhouse directly to my house as an extra room or conservatory, and my realtor says it has significantly increased my property’s value. However, the assembly instructions are a mess. I put it together myself, but it was extremely difficult—not because I’m 85, but everything ended very well
The Victorian greenhouse has added functional beauty to our open area, nestled under the protective, partial shade of cedar trees. Its size is ideal for overwintering our tropical and succulent plants, while still offering plenty of space for container-grown vegetables. In the spring, it becomes the perfect environment for seed starters and perennial cuttings.
We purchased and assembled the VI 36 Royal Victorian Greenhouse, adding a 30" brick retaining wall for the foundation. The result is both beautiful and functional. For aesthetics, we chose glass over polycarbonate. We also installed three small heaters on automatic thermostats, the main fan, and a couple of portable fans. Fantastic—I’m thrilled with this purchase and will definitely get another for our next house.
This product is a significant upgrade from its predecessor. It's sturdier, much simpler to assemble and set up, and delivers superior performance!
I'm thrilled with my Royal Victorian greenhouse. It's a game-changer for my gardening, allowing me to protect agave in winter and nurture butterfly-attracting plants from seed. Plus, the service has been outstanding—prompt and friendly. Couldn't be happier with my purchase!

No it does not. However, the type of weather which would damage the Janssens® greenhouse would be such that it would also damage your main house and/or other structures in your garden. In which case this damage would be covered by your home-owners insurance policy.
It is required to have 2 people minimum to assemble the greenhouse. If not considering site preparation, the assembly normarly take about 8-12 hours. It could be more if you have to install shelves and the foundation frame.
